Stamp Hole Design Standard – Hole Size or Spacing Below Minimum Limit

Reason for Pending Review:

Your design includes stamp (breakaway) holes that are smaller than the minimum 0.45 mm diameter or have spacing less than 0.35 mm.

Such dimensions may cause panel break issues, burrs, or uneven edges after depanelization, which can affect both the appearance and reliability of the PCB.

PCBfast Suggestions:

1. Please follow PCBfast’s standard design requirements for stamp holes:

Hole diameter: ≥ 0.45 mm

Hole spacing: ≥ 0.35 mm

2. For stable panel connection and smooth depanelization, it is recommended to design at least 4–5 stamp holes per tab-routing section.

Adhering to these standards ensures consistent edge quality and reduces mechanical stress during PCB separation.
