PCB Outline Too Thick – Dimension Confirmation Required

Reason for Failed Review:

The outline layer of your PCB design is too thick, which makes it unclear how to define the final board dimension. As shown in the screenshot below, the outline line width is excessive, so it is difficult to determine whether the final PCB size should follow the inner edge, outer edge, or center of the outline line.

PCBfast Suggestions:

To ensure precise board dimensions and smooth fabrication, please avoid designing the outline as a thick shape or milling path. Instead, draw the outline using a single, thin contour line (centerline) as illustrated below. PCBfast measures the board dimension based on the center of the outline line by default.

If you cannot control this in your CAD design, please add a note or clarification regarding the final intended dimensions when submitting your order online, so that our engineering team can confirm it before production.
