The number of pins of the component does not match the number of pads on the PCB. What should I do?

If you find that the number of component pins is different from the number of circuit board pads, you can handle it like this:

If the extra pins do not need to be soldered, they can be simply assembled in the existing manner.

If these pins are to be used in the circuit, the PCB design needs to be modified by adding or removing the corresponding pads.

If you select the wrong component, please replace it with the correct model (MPN) that matches the current number of PCB pads.

Before production, please double-check whether the BOM and the package pin positions are consistent. This will help avoid rework and delays.
