What Happens If the Gerber File Includes Soldermask and Silkscreen Layers, but “No Soldermask” and “No Silkscreen” Are Selected When Placing the Order?

At PCBfast, if your submitted Gerber file contains soldermask or silkscreen layers but you select “No Soldermask” and “No Silkscreen” in the order options, we will temporarily hold the order and contact you to confirm whether these layers are indeed not required. Once we receive your confirmation, we will proceed with production accordingly.

To avoid delays, if you truly do not need soldermask or silkscreen, please delete these layers before uploading and select “None” for both options during order placement.

Alternatively, you can leave a note in the remarks section specifying your exact requirements — for example, whether to produce the board with soldermask openings or without silkscreen printing.

This helps us ensure your order is processed accurately, efficiently, and according to your design intent.
